Monthly plan fees are billed to your shop by card, separate from sales. Commission is applied automatically to each sale. Choose a plan from your seller dashboard under Plan.
Seller guidelines
What Maker Market asks of every shop
Sell only what you make. You, or your workshop, build the piece — no resale, dropshipping or factory-ordered goods. Photograph the real thing. Show the actual piece or a piece from the same run, in daylight, including the joinery and finish. Describe it properly: wood or material, finish, exact dimensions, weight if it matters for delivery. Give an honest lead time for made-to-order work and update the buyer if it slips. Price in CHF, including your packing costs. Commission is 8%, or 3.5% on Pro. Pack for a courier who won't be careful. Damage in transit is handled between you and the buyer. Reply to buyer questions within two working days. Honour the 14-day return window on ready-made pieces. Commissioned work is exempt unless it arrives damaged or isn't what was agreed.

The Studio plan is CHF 39 per month plus 8% commission on each sale. Pro is CHF 99 per month with 4% commission and featured placement on the storefront.
The monthly price is shown on the sell page but it is not charged through Maker Market. We invoice you for it separately, outside the platform.
Yes. We read each application and look at your work before your shop goes live, because everything here has to be made in the seller's own workshop. Expect an answer within a few days.
You do. You set your own delivery terms and pricing, pack the piece and choose the carrier. For large furniture, say clearly in the listing whether delivery is kerbside or into the room.
No. Made-to-order and customised work is exempt from the 14-day window for a change of mind. You do have to put it right if the piece arrives damaged or isn't what you described.
